Democracy is Like a Startup

Volunteering during this election season has taught me that American democracy is a lot like a startup. In the grand scheme of things, we were only recently created.

We’re still experimenting and learning.

Sometimes this leads to great innovations and sometimes we go (very far) down the wrong path.

It’s a high-risk endeavor and failure is always a possibility…

…but we are uniquely adaptable and capable of accomplishing great things quickly, sometimes under intense pressure, when visionary leaders, with thoughtful strategies and empathic superpowers, can guide, inspire and motivate us to come together and work towards a shared goal.

And finally, our people are our greatest resource, and each one matters. Please get out and vote today!
