During the course of my career, I have developed a unique command of both the creative and corporate sides of the entertainment business.

As Senior Director, Business Development & Strategy at Viacom Velocity, I founded and run a team that works at the intersection of traditional media and emerging entertainment technology. I specialize in developing and implementing growth strategies, building innovatively structured joint venture partnerships with digital startups and creating revenue generating content solutions that propel our business forward. I excel at building and operating high-performance teams that can adapt to rapidly shifting marketplace needs for clients ranging from blue chip brands to indie rappers. Recent projects that have generated impact and buzz include a comprehensive analysis of the brand studio competitive landscape across all media, a business plan for growing Viacom’s branded content offering, content partnerships with Bustle Digital Group, Indigenous Media, Above Average, augmented reality pioneer 8i and developing LIT!, a Clio award-winning series made with Beats by Dre.

I also launched and oversee Velocity's Talent Partnerships & Influencer Strategy team which combines Viacom's casting expertise with data-driven decision making to create influencer marketing campaigns for the world's leading brands.

Previously, I founded Kraken Productions, a Brooklyn-based production company that made commercials, music videos and web content for companies like VH1, NBC, Funny or Die and Death & Taxes. Prior to that, I was a Creative Executive at Cine Mosaic where I worked on Mira Nair’s The Namesake and Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited.

I mentor tech founders at Galvanize, Snap’s accelerator program Yellow, and Quake Capital Partners. I’ve written thought leadership articles on innovation strategy for V by Viacom.  I represent Velocity at industry keynotes and panels in the U.S and Europe.  I directed a webisode of the HBO series “High Maintenance” and wrote, directed and produced the groundbreaking interactive music video for Das Racist’s “Who’s That? Brooown!”. I am an enthusiastic lifelong learner and have studied Product Management and Data Analytics at General Assembly, Wilderness Medicine and Executive Leadership at NOLS, am a proud alumni of the Pioneer cohort of the Stanford LEAD Program for Corporate Innovation and hold a degree in history from Georgetown University.

I love skiing, cooking, spending time outdoors hiking and camping, hosting dinner parties, learning to surf and watching documentaries (for real).
